Lauren Shamo is a video producer and editor based in New York City with over ten years of experience in digital video journalism. As a video producer at CNBC Make It, she specializes in producing, filming and editing personal narrative and business-driven profile pieces. Prior to CNBC, Lauren spent five years at Business Insider, producing similar content and creating a sponsored daily business news show. In 2019, she reported and filmed pieces from Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum for Business Insider. Shamo produced and assisted directed the comedy-drama film, Six Weeks to Twelve Years in 2019.
